About the Journal

Journal of Environment, Wildlife and Conservation (JEWC) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Aidoo Academic Press Ltd (United Kingdom). The journal publishes high-quality research that advances understanding of interactions among natural systems, biological diversity, wildlife populations, and human activities, with the goal of supporting sustainable resource use and long-term ecological resilience at local, regional, and global scales.

JEWC provides a platform for interdisciplinary scholarship addressing major environmental and conservation challenges. The journal welcomes theoretical, empirical, methodological, and applied studies that advance scientific knowledge, inform policy and management decisions, and promote sustainable stewardship of the natural environment.

Areas of interest include environmental science, ecology, conservation biology, wildlife science, forestry, landscape and restoration ecology, ecosystem and protected area management, climate change, environmental pollution, natural resource management, and related fields.

All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process conducted by international experts. Articles are published under a continuous publication model to ensure rapid dissemination of knowledge, global accessibility, and timely contributions to research and practice.

Aims & Scope

The Journal of Environment, Wildlife and Conservation (JEWC) is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing research, policy, and practice related to environmental protection, wildlife conservation, biodiversity management, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable natural resource stewardship. The journal provides a platform for high-quality scientific studies that contribute to the conservation of biological diversity, protection of ecological integrity, and sustainable management of natural environments across terrestrial, freshwater, coastal, and marine ecosystems.

JEWC promotes interdisciplinary scholarship addressing contemporary environmental and conservation challenges arising from habitat degradation, biodiversity loss, environmental pollution, unsustainable resource use, wildlife exploitation, ecological disturbance, and increasing pressures on natural ecosystems. The journal seeks to foster evidence-based approaches that strengthen conservation practice, environmental governance, ecological restoration, and sustainable environmental management.

The journal welcomes theoretical, empirical, experimental, observational, policy-oriented, and applied studies that generate practical solutions for conservation and environmental management. Emphasis is placed on research that informs conservation decision-making, protected area management, biodiversity protection, ecological rehabilitation, environmental regulation, community participation, and sustainable resource governance.
